Introducing

COMPOUND AUDIO PROCESSOR

Low end weight, punch and glue in one panel.

Heft CX-1 is a noise gate, VCA compressor, bass expander and limiter in a single plugin, modeled on a classic late-90s hardware processor. Built for drums, 808s, bass, vocals and the mix bus.

The Heft CX-1 plugin panel: brushed silver faceplate with noise gate, compressor, bass expand, limiter and output sections

One panel, no hidden pages. Every control is right in front of you.

Noise Gate

Clears out bleed and noise before the compressor. Switch to a gentle 2:1 expander for a softer touch.

Compressor

A fast VCA design from a gentle 1.3:1 through infinity to OVER, which pushes loud hits back down for that pumping, sucked-in sound.

Bass Expand & Huge

Low-end weight that grows with the compression, so kicks and 808s get heavier, not just louder. HUGE takes it bigger and deeper.

Limiter

A smooth, optical-style peak limiter that catches anything the compressor lets through.
